SaaS-Based HR & Employee Management Platform

Overview

Created a SaaS HR management platform enabling companies to manage employees, payroll, attendance, leave requests, and performance tracking.

The Challenge

Companies using this platform were running HR processes — onboarding, attendance, leave, payroll — through a mix of spreadsheets and manual approvals, which didn't scale as headcount grew. The client needed a multi-tenant SaaS product that any company could subscribe to and run its own HR operations on.

The Solution

We built the platform on Next.js and Node with PostgreSQL on AWS RDS for structured HR data, centering it on employee onboarding, attendance/leave management, and payroll processing with a role-and-permissions system to keep company data isolated. Stripe handles SaaS subscription billing, Redis caches frequently accessed data like attendance summaries, and Firebase Authentication secures logins across tenant companies.
