Overview
Developed a cloud-based dental laboratory portal enabling clinics and labs to upload cases, assign designers, track workflows, and manage digital dental records securely.
The Challenge
Dental clinics sending case files to the lab were relying on email attachments and phone calls to check status, which slowed designer assignment and made it hard to track who last touched a case. The lab needed a portal where clinics could upload cases directly and everyone could see status and history in one place.
The Solution
We built a React/Node portal on MongoDB with case uploads going straight to AWS S3, an assignment system routing cases to designers, and an activity timeline logging every status change and note against a case. Socket.IO pushes live status updates to clinics and lab staff, and JWT-secured, role-based access keeps case data restricted to the right people.
